The East-Slovakian Museum at Kosice is one of the oldest in Slovakia. It was set up in 1872 as Assotiation Museum under the name The Upper-Hungarian Museum. During its existence of over 120 years it has collected practicaly half a milion objects from the domain of art history, crafts, history, numismatics, etnography, natural history, photography. A representative selection from the museum´s collections is on view in tropically rounded exhibitions.
