"Romeu & Juliet"

In their very free adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy, the company presents a humorous slant on the classical Romeo and juliet. Two actors with the help of a few objects double to play Romeo, Juliet, Lord Montague, Lord Capulet, Tybalt, the Prince of Verona, nurse, Friar Lawrence plus a few characters more to tell this famous story.

Characters for the two players:

Montague:
Lord Montague - head of a noble house in Verona and feud with the Capulets
Romeo - son to Lord Montague
Mercutio - friend to romeo
Friar Lawrence - a Franciscan

Capulet:
Lord Capulet - head of a noble house in Verona and feud with the Montagues
Juliet - daughter to Lord Capulet
Paris - a young suitor to Juliet
Tybalt - cousin to Juliet
Servant to Capulet

Bodyguard to the Prince of Verona
James Sounpost and Hugh Rebeck - two musicians who play at the Capulet ball
