Tragicomedy From the diary of a Train Carriage is a story of 15 passengers who find themselves in a forgotten carriage somewhere in forrest after a night ride. They fail in making contact with civilization, there isn't a single person nearby. Gradually they're getting to know each other, they are talking about more or less serious topics, they're learning how to survive. Their belief in saving doesn't cease, but as time passes, they realize that the carriage has become a sort of a state in a state for them, a place where all are equal and accept each other.
The slow passing of time does not lead to any conclusion, it is trying to teach the simple knowledge of the values that could create the basis of a better common life.
The film was being made during the summer of 2002 in Čierny Balog, as a succession of improvizations of 15 people with a mental handicap - the actors from the theatre Divadlo z pasáže in Banská Bystrica
